Welcome to Troop 73's new website !

This is an information and communication resource for the boys, families and adult volunteers of troop 73..

We strive to fulfill the “Aims of Scouting”: character development, citizenship training, and personal fitness by following the Scout Oath and Law, making use of the patrol method, outdoor activities, offering opportunities for advancement, associating with adults, growing personally and in community, learning and practicing leadership skills, and wearing the uniform is an action that shows each Boy Scout’s commitment.

Note: Announcements posted on the Home Page will be truncated to a reasonable size and you can read the entire Announcement by clicking on it. The entire Welcome Message will be shown on the Home Page so be careful not to make it too long.

Advancement Planning

So we can make board of review scheduling easier for the boys, I propose that we plan to have adults present the 3rd Wednesday of each month to do boards of review if boys need them. Also, please keep in mind that I would like to print and get the advancement paperwork signed at that same meeting. Sometimes there is not enough time to do that, and if that's the case, please check with me if you were on a board of review team and need to sign paperwork.
